Sanders Physiotherapy
Humans and animals are designed to move, and when their systems are working in balance we see 'beautiful movement'. They have amazing complex integrated systems that facilitate these balanced and fluid movements, but at times these break down due to injury, disease, overuse or misuse resulting in pain, loss of function and/or performance. Research is increasingly showing the beneficial effects of physiotherapy for both humans and animals.
Sanders Physiotherapy is based on the philosophy that evidenced based practice can work with the body's natural healing capabilities to enhance healing and restore function. In addition by exploring specific rehabilitation programmes improvements are maintained, full potential realised and 'beautiful movement' experienced.
Sanders Physiotherapy is dedicated to providing a high standard of service in a professional and friendly manner. Based in the North East treatments are tailored to individual situations and available to clients either at one of our clinics or in the convenience of your own home/stable yard. Regions covered include Northumberland, Durham and Cumbria.

Juliet Sanders Chartered Physiotherapist and Veterinary Physiotherapist
Juliet is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and a member of the following organisations:
- Chartered Society of Physiotherapists
- Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics
- Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy
- Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists
I have been a patient of Juliet's periodically for a number of years due to chronic back & neck problems. Without her skill, dedication and encouragement I would not have achieved the mobile and active life I enjoy today. Her treatment has been very important in keeping this condition under control, for which I am very grateful.
I first met Juliet when I was waiting for a hip replacement and I was also suffering from a compressed disc and sciatica. She is a real professional as well as being very reassuring and practical, giving loads of great lifestyle advice as well as great treatment
Juliet is professional, patient, and really cares about making a difference. She has worked closely with my vet in treating my horse Will for both leg (lymphingits) and sacroiliac problems. Her treatments really helped him, with noticeable improvements each time. He even enjoyed his treatments, I think because they made him feel so much better.
Juliet deals with most horse problems and maintenance in our yard with excellent results and the horses like her. She is practical, kind and caring, and I would not hesitate to recommend her services.
